Bathroom Vanity Lighting Source(s)?
On the bathroom remodel, I would like to install the vertical lighting on either side of the medicine cabinet as per numerous lighting designers recommendations. Unfortunately, the available space on either side of the cabinet is limited to no more than 3″, which has surprisingly restricted the choices so far to about zero. I would prefer fluorscent lamps with diffusers and brass base units along with electronic ballasts. After too many hours trollling the net and visits to local lighting shops and way too many catalogs, still no luck.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions on suppliers to contact for this elusive piece of the remodeling puzzle.
It is frustrating when a lighting designer recommends a certain type of lighting and then doesn’t follow up with the source of the fixtures. I would go back to the designers and lean on them to find the fixtures for you. That is their business and they have immediate access to far more resources than you do. I wish I could offer a better solution, but I don’t have an easy answer. I can tell you that I have done as I have advised and found results every time. I have to admit that being a builder offers some leverage with the designers.
Good luck with your search.
